The makeup you wear on your big day will be entirely based on your dress, hairstyle and wedding theme. Hence, when choosing a perfect makeup look for your wedding you have to see the big picture, rather than just the type of lip color or eyeshadow.
Here are some tips of what will be popular and appropriate for your fall wedding, yet remember – don’t decide on makeup without seeing the full aisle-worthy look.

1. Bold lips
Your dress will most likely be a lighter color – who said your lips have to be?
According to Harper’s Bazaar, this has been a reoccurring trend for in past years and will be again in 2017
Dark red lips with subtle eye makeup can draws more attention and adds a splash of color to your face. This helps keep your skin looking fresh for longer – as the spotlight is on the lips rather than skin. If you tend to have bad skin or translucent powder does not work well for you – this is a great option!

2. Metallic shadow/ liner
Marchesa, Brandon Maxwell, Elie Saab, Laura Biagiotti, Alberta Ferretti, Alexis Mabille – just to name a few of the big names that added pearl, golden and silver pigments onto the eyes of their runway models. Doing so will not only make your eyes pop, but those colors look as if they were made for wedding makeup!

3. Delicate Look
Rather than going for a full makeup look, brides in fall should consider fair makeup styles. This includes no falsies, light contour, thin lining of the eye and barely any eyeshadow.

4. Burgundy
La Perla added Burgundy colored eye makeup to their models, making them look stronger and giving them a fall touch. What they used was not eyeshadow – according to Erin Parsons, Maybelline makeup artist responsible for the show – as she states that they used creamy lipliner and lipstick instead of eyeshadow. A little trick to try maybe?
